Pulmonary Function Tech, Shoreline, WA
We are currently seeking a Pulmonary Function Tech for The Everett Clinic in Shoreline.
Job Description: Under general supervision, responsible for performing pulmonary function tests to obtain data on the functioning level of patients' respiratory processes for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating pulmonary disorders.
Schedule: Tuesday/Thursday 6:45am-4:45pm, averaging 20 hours per week
- Minimum: High school graduate and either:
(a) completion of two years of clinical experience in the field of pulmonary technology; or
(b) completion of 62 semester hours of college credit (including at least one course in biology, chemistry and mathematics) and a minimum of one year of clinical experience in the field of pulmonary technology; or
(c) completion of a Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) approved program in Respiratory Therapy and a minimum of 6 months of clinical experience in the field of pulmonary technology; or
(d) current certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified (CPFT) or Registered (RPFT) Pulmonary Function Technologist.
Minimum: National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification as a Certified (CPFT) or Registered (RPFT) Pulmonary Function Technologist.
