Description

We have a great opportunity for a healthcare manager to get their feet wet! This position is designed for advancement and growth with the organization. You will supervise a staff of up to 20 and develop and implement clinic policies and procedures to improve clinic processes and patient flow. Masters preferred.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience or a Masters in Health Administration or Masters in Business Administration.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: None.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Knowledge of the principles and practices of health care administration, fiscal management and government regulations and reimbursements; clinic policies and procedures to manage its operations and to ensure effective patient care; the principles and practices of employee development sufficient to manage a department; and computer systems, programs and applications. Skills in exercising a high degree or initiative, judgment and discretion; analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships; organizing work, delegating and achieving goals and objectives; and exercising judgment and discretion in developing, interpreting and implementing departmental policies and procedures. Ability to plan, organize and integrate priorities and deadlines; identify, analyze and resolve process problems; evaluate and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement; research, analyze, interpret complex data and present comprehensive reports; and communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.

YVFWC provides comprehensive medical, dental and social services in over 17 Pacific Northwest communities. Our medical and dental services are complemented by behavioral health services, nutrition services, drug and alcohol treatment, an HIV/AIDS clinic, community health services, the Northwest Community Action Center (which provides employment, training, mentoring and other case management and referral services), and a mobile medical and dental unit.
