Human Resources Business Partner

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing direction and support to management staff. Provides information to all departments on State and Federal laws, recruiting and employment practices, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee and labor relations, health, safety and security and management practices. Uses advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills, active listening skills and empathy toward others, and demonstrated tact and understanding when dealing with others are also essential for success in this role.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field (or equivalent). An advanced degree in Human Resources or Business and knowledge of health care is desirable. Four years of progressively-responsible human resources experience. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in Human Resources as a generalist involving employment/recruiting, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, and organizational design/development. Professional certification is desirable. Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Meditech. Communicates effectively with individuals of varying education and cultural backgrounds, excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.

F-Time; 40hrs/wk
